Mandate
Leads international trade negotiations, manages bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, and represents MoIC in ASEAN, WTO, and other international forums.
Key Functions
- 1Lead trade and investment negotiations with foreign countries and organizations
- 2Manage ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) commitments and compliance
- 3Coordinate WTO membership obligations and notifications
- 4Negotiate and manage bilateral trade agreements
- 5Represent MoIC in international meetings and forums
- 6Manage international cooperation projects and donor coordination
- 7Monitor and report on international trade agreement implementation
- 8Coordinate RCEP implementation

- Negotiate on behalf of MoIC
- Sign cooperation agreements
- Represent Laos in ASEAN and WTO
