On 14th of Jan 2015 President Choummaly SAYASONE and his delegates visited the Phanphet Agriculture Farm in Nongkeo village, Hadxaifong district Vientiane Capital
The aim of the visit was to promote and increase production by local farmers in the district. The Phanphet Agriculture Farm supplies rice crops and animals for both domestic markets and export, according to President of the Farm, Mr Thongsavanh Myboun. Over 300 rice farming families have become members of the company. The families of farm rice crops on 700 ha of farmland and they apply high yielding technology to their market-oriented production, according to Mr Thongsavan.
He said that what company does is in line with the government policy and directive of Vientiane Capital on food security and poverty reduction.
On the same day the president visited a fermented fish factory in Chomphet village, Sisattanak district Vientiane Capital.
